Lakeside worked with the public works department to rapidly upgrade municipal sites and high-risk hotspots near waterways. The city committed partial funding while sponsors covered the remainder. Results: 40 dumpsters secured • 2,100,000 gallons of runoff prevented/year • 1 municipal partner + 15 sponsors • Project duration: 16 weeks • Combined public + private funding model.
